Children’s daycare should not be a costly luxury for parents who need it. Working parents should not have to struggle without it or sacrifice quality care because of financial constraints. Childcare subsidies for eligible Maryland resident families pay for high-quality childcare and early education programs. The application process is relatively simple and quick. “Fast-track child scholarship applications” shorten the wait period to 3 business days. Eligible families can get help with childcare expenses almost immediately for 60 days while the application is processed. The stipend can offset about 75% of your child’s monthly tuition depending on income. Once approved, parents are free to choose the facility which they feel would best serve their child’s needs.
Scholarship grants are only available to those facilities which have a Maryland Excels quality rating. Tolstoy Preschool FDC has earned such a rating. We are one of few Russian-speaking facilities who can receive State scholarship grants directly under the program.

Доступ к детскому саду должен быть доступным для всех и не должен быть дорогим для родителей, которые в нем нуждаются. Работающие родители не должны жертвовать качественным уходом за детьми из за финансовых трудностей. Cубсидии на детский сад (гранты) для семей, живущих в Мэриленде, помогают покрывать расходы на высококачественный уход и программы раннего образования. Процесс подачи заявки простой и быстрый. Ускоренные заявки сокращают время ожидания до 3 рабочих дней. Семьи, имеющие право на помощь, могут получать поддержку почти сразу в течение 60 дней, пока обрабатывается их заявка. Грант может покрыть 75% месячной платы за обучение в зависимости от дохода. После одобрения родители могут выбрать любое учреждение с рейтингом качества Maryland Excels.
«Толстовский» pусскоязычный детский сад недавно получил такой рейтинг. Мы одни из немногих русскоязычных учреждений, которые могут получать государственные гранты напрямую.
